Photographs only go so far on a car this age. Keep it for 30 days, drive it, look underneath it — if it isn’t what you hoped, we’ll collect it free and refund you.
An hour with a car you have never seen before is not enough to judge it. Thirty days is. Put it on a lift, take it to your own mechanic, drive it on the roads you actually know.
If what you find does not match what you expected, tell us. We’ll arrange free collection and get your refund moving — no argument about who was right.
Notice is on time if it's sent by 8:00 p.m. local time on the last day of your 30-day window.
Step 1 — Tell us
Let our Customer Experience team know by email, certified mail or live chat within 30 days of delivery.
Step 2 — We collect
We’ll collect it from your delivery address within three business days, at no charge — on the same kind of transport that brought it to you.
Step 3 — Get refunded
Once we’ve collected it and compared it against the photographs taken before it shipped, your refund is initiated within 48 hours to your original payment method.
The guarantee is generous and straightforward — here's exactly how it works.
Only two things, both documented: the reasonable cost to repair new damage caused after delivery, supported by photos and an invoice or estimate, and the replacement cost of missing keys, spare parts or documents.
That is the whole list. We won’t deduct for ordinary use, pre-existing damage, carrier damage, faults that were already there at delivery, reconditioning, depreciation, administrative fees, a title delay at the DMV or lost profit.
Please do — that is rather the point of 30 days. Put it on a lift, pull a wheel, do a compression test, then drive it as far as you like; there is no mileage limit on the guarantee. Ordinary use and inspection can’t be deducted from your refund, and neither can anything already recorded in our inspection report. Just keep the keys, spare parts and documents together and make it available at the delivery address for collection.
Refunds are initiated within 48 hours after we collect it and confirm its condition, and are sent back to the same account or payment source you originally used. If we ever propose a deduction, it comes to you itemized in writing.
If the title has already been issued to you, we’ll ask you to help reassign it back to us once your refund is confirmed. On older cars the paperwork can take a little longer, and we handle the chasing.
It travels fully insured in transit. Once delivered, arrange your own cover before you drive it — most insurers write a classic on a separate agreed-value policy rather than a standard auto policy, so it is worth calling ahead. You remain responsible for the car until we collect it.
The 30-day money-back guarantee sits alongside your 90-day limited warranty and a full 168-point inspection — three layers of confidence on a car you bought sight-unseen.
Find a classic worth owning, knowing you have 30 days to be sure it is.
